Beautiful Sevilla with Booking.com

Ahhhh Sevilla…what can I say about a place that captured my heart the minute I set eyes on it. There’s a reason why I got married here right?

From the music to the food and architecture, there is no other city for me that embraces passion, hospitality, and history like Sevilla.

Thanks to bookin.com, now with you can visit my Sevilla too, or any other place that you love with a discount from booking.com by clicking this link: https://www.booking.com/s/1ab2566a

Seville is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region. It’s famous for flamenco dancing, tapas, and it’s beautiful landmarks including the Alcázar (where Game of Thrones was filmed), La Casa de Pilatos an Andalusian palace which serves as the permanent residence of the Dukes of Medinaceli, and the Gothic Seville Cathedral which is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb.

One can easily wander the streets of this city for days on end and discover something new, something magical.

While the city is stunning so are its magical hotels and stays. I knew when I partnered with Booking.com to pick where we wanted to check-in I would find my favorite hotels. I also got a little discount for your next trip guys but that’s towards the end of this article 😉

We decided to book two places mainly for the difference in scenery and interiors to spice things up a bit. Our first stop was the H10 Casa de la Plata, a brand new hotel from the very known H10 group. While the reviews online are excellent, I can attest that the hotel is worth every single one of them.

Located ideally next to the best churros spot you will ever encounter (people in Sevilla eat these traditionally for breakfast), the H10 Casa de la Plata is located in the historic centre of the city, close to not only famous landmarks, but also a slew of tapas places and local markets where you can truly indulge in the locals foodie culture. Make sure you visit Mercado de la Feria, Seville’s oldest food market.

To walk off a hefty breakfast or lunch, make sure you take time to visit the Metropol Parasol, which is a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Designed by German architect Jürgen Mayer H, it is the world’s largest wooden structure. You can wonder the top of the mushroom enjoying amazing views of the city and grab a drink at their cafe. Try to go during sunset it’s quite a sight to see.

After a long day out, being back at the hotel was a pleasure. The interior, amenities and staff, everything was superb. Our suite had lovely decor, was very spacious and had an amazing view of the lively street and architecture.

In the mornings we loved the breakfast buffet, it was filled with a variety of Spanish cheeses, meats, yummy breads and anything else your foodie heart desires.

And at night, one of our highlights was seeing strangers at night just starting to dance flamenco to street musicians. It truly made you feel and breathe Sevilla’s energy.

So after 3 lovely days at H10 Casa De La Plata we moved to the 5-star EME Cathedral. Located in a 16th century building, EME Catedral Hotel is characterized by the modern design of its facilities and wonderful views of the Giralda and the Cathedral of Seville.

Our room balcony looked out to the Sevilla Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its beauty has to truly be seen in person to be understood.

Yes this our balcony view onto Calle Alemanes and part of the Cathedral…

Since the Cathedral is at the center, this location is truly prime. You are minutes away from major sites, great tapas places like Eslava, and the energetic neighbouhood of Triana.

The colorful waterfront buildings on Calle Betis in Triana offer only a taste of this lovely neighbourhood full of gypsy spirit, flamenco spice (Tablao flamenco Pura Esencia is my fave), and insanely yummy tapas (try Las Golondrinas). I highly recommend taking one day to explore this authentic area. Make sure you stop at the Triana Market for a healthy lunch located in the Plaza del Altozano, next to the Triana Bridge. In the lower part of the market are the remains of the Castle of San Jorge, the seat of the inquisitional court.

Okay back to the gorgeous hotel Booking.com hooked us up with! I spent most of my mornings basking in the sun admiring this historical marvel and feeling so blessed to be able near such an iconic place.

Besides our beautiful room and balcony, the highlight of our stay here was their insane rooftop, voted the best in Seville in fact, made up of little mazes that all led you to different spots from the pool to the bar and little resting nooks.

And let’s take a minute to admire these views from the lively bar at night (people line up to get up here for cocktails and hangs). Certain nights have DJs and the vibe here becomes really magical.

So after 6 days of eating (alot of eating), re-visiting all my favorite spots, connecting with the locals, and staying at the prettiest hotels, I wanted to hook you guys up with a discount for your next trip with Booking.com!
